Training your cowriter on new information
Adding training material
Use the training materials feature to give your Reword cowriter a quick personalized lesson on the information you want to write about.
Here’s how it works…
- Select the Training materials feature on the sidebar.
- Upload a PDF or enter a URL source and wait for your materials to load.
- Start creating! Your AI will bring in the information it learned from your training material and add it to your article in an organic and natural way.
The sources you add will only be used for the draft you are working on. So every article you write can have its own training materials.
Bonus - You can add multiple sources!

Removing training material
To remove your training material, click the 3 dots next to the source and select ‘Remove’.

Let your cowriter research for you
Using your article's objective, your Reword cowriter will scan the web for relevant resources to study, so that it can become an expert in your topic.
Your cowriter will automatically find a bunch of relevant and up-to-date research articles, news reports and other web pages that give you an extra edge when creating articles.
We always prioritize sources that are popular and reputable, but on occasions the source may be old or invalid. In this case it will show as unsuccessful (❌) and you can either try to add it again, or remove it.
When should we use it?
Here’s some common use cases…
1. Scientific studies and white papers.
Scientific studies and white papers are an excellent way to give your cowriter context on scientific topics and technological concepts. As you write your article, your AI will draw facts, statistics and findings from the source.
2. Product and services info.
Train your AI on your documentation to help it understand your products and services. Whether it's a product page, about us page or a PDF with knowledge on your company, your cowriter will use it when writing content for your article.
3. News reports.
If you've published or read a recent news story, you can add the URL source and train your AI on the latest reports. Great for specific update posts or when your creating articles around a certain news topic.
Each of these suggestions will make your Reword cowriter much smarter than any generic AI tool (and give your writing an added edge!).
Is this plagiarism?
No. Your AI processes the document you upload and learns from it to create something fresh and unique.
This is no different to giving a human writer resources to read or research before they start writing an article.
Just imagine the edge you'll have when you add specialized context into each of your published pieces.
